The New Testament consistently presents generosity not as an obligation but as a response to grace — a joyful, voluntary participation in something far larger than ourselves. At St Thomas, we are deeply grateful for the many ways our parishioners already give: of their time, their talents, their prayers, and their financial support. Heritage Appeal
The National Trust of Australia (Queensland) is assisting with the fundraising for restoration of St Thomas the Apostle Church, Toowong as an important heritage place. Donations to the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) for this appeal are allowable as deductions for tax purposes. Donations over $2 to the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) Limited can be claimed as tax deductible donations.

Give a Living Legacy
A Living Legacy is a significant gift made during your lifetime — of capital, property, shares, or a named fund. A Living Legacy allows you to see your gift at work.
If you are able to gift a more substantial sum towards a specific item within the Church, or to benefit church Music ministry, air conditioning, or youth at St Thomas’, or to fund the parish centre community hub operating costs, or simply to make a gift to assist with the day to day costs of running the parish, please speak to the Treasurer or to the Church Wardens who would be delighted to help.
Leaving a Bequest
Leaving a Bequest can change many lives. You can make a real difference to the good work of the Anglican Parish of Toowong by making a Will and choosing to leave a bequest which will be a lasting symbol of your generosity.
Past bequests have enabled capital works on the church to be completed in good time.
Bequest Will Clause:
“I give and bequeath the sum of $…… (or the rest and residue of my estate) to The Corporation of The Synod of The Diocese of Brisbane for the general charitable and religious purposes of the Anglican Parish of Toowong, and the receipt of the Diocesan General Manager shall be a sufficient discharge to my executor or trustee.”
