Who are we?

“God is Love, and those who live in love live in God and God lives in them.” (1 John 4:16)

We have a committed Parish Council, Treasurer, two Church Wardens and four councillors who take responsibility for parish matters in support of the ministry of the parish.

We have a dedicated musical team - three organists and a 15 person Choir led by a highly respected conductor. The Parish Choir sings on the First Sunday of each months and at Christmas, Easter and St Thomas’ Day. From time to time we are treated to instrumental groups, and host concerts by the choir and friends.

Many volunteer to care for the fabric and upkeep of the church and parish centre, tending and maintenance of the gardens, staffing the bookshop and preparing and performing music for services and for concerts.

As followers of Christ we are called to be inclusive, to be open and to welcome all people into the community of those who embrace the love of God. We strive to transform our own lives and to build a better world.

Our Beliefs

As a partner in the worldwide Anglican Communion and in the universal Church, we proclaim and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ in worship and action.

We value our heritage of biblical faith, reason, liturgy, tradition, bishops and synods, and the rich variety of our life in community.
